By accessing or using the Argus platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual engineers, engineering managers, and organizational administrators.

2. Description of Service

Argus is an AI developer analytics platform that helps engineering teams understand and optimize their use of AI coding tools. The Service collects and analyzes metadata from git activity, CI/CD pipelines, and AI tool usage to provide insights into development velocity, cost efficiency, and code quality. Argus does not collect, store, or analyze source code, file contents, or prompt/response content.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary. You must notify Argus immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Organization administrators are responsible for managing access controls, configuring privacy settings, and ensuring compliance with their organization's policies.

4. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein. Argus adheres to a strict "metadata only" policy and never ingests source code.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Argus and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

In no event shall Argus's aggregate liability exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid Argus in the twelve months prior to the claim.
